Medical Evacuation
Emergency Medical Evacuation (by air and/or ground) needed to move you to an appropriate medical facility so you can get the care you need. EA+ and its providers will only pay for a medical evacuation if the hospital in which member is at does not have adequate equipment to treat the member, and the member needs to be transported to a different facility for proper care. The member is responsible for calling 9-1-1 to get from the scene to the first hospital for initial treatment.
Dispatching Specialist in an emergency where you cannot adequately be assessed by telephone for possible evacuation, or you cannot be moved and local treatment is unavailable; we will send an appropriate medical practitioner to you.
Transportation after Initial Evacuation for your return home or to a health care facility nearer to your home, if medically necessary.
Medical Assistance
Prescription Replacement helps get your lost or stolen prescription replaced by the most efficient means possible.
Unlimited Cash Advance for Medical Payments paid directly to the medical provider when necessary against a valid personal credit card and if you do not have funds available with you.
Emergency Medical Monitoring provides a professional EA+ representative assigned to monitor your hospitalization to ensure you get the best care in a medical emergency.
Emergency Medication, Blood and Vaccine Transfers coordinated through EA+, if needed. Member is responsible for any expenses; fees will be charged to Member's credit card.
Doctor/Emergency Room/Dentist/Attorney 24-Hour Locator Service links you with competent professionals, wherever you are. Get a sensible referral instead of looking through the Yellow Pages of a town you don’t know.
Hotel Room for Convalescence arranged if you need a room before or after hospitalization. Fees will be billed to Member's credit card.
Emergency Local Ground Transportation limited to $200.00.
Replacement of corrective lenses and medical devices. Replacement expenses will be billed to Member's credit card.
Assistance for Companions
One Round-Trip Economy Class Ticket to send a family member or companion to your bedside if you are traveling alone and hospitalized for more than 7 days.
Dependent Children or Grandchildren Return Home Expenses paid for transporting home a dependent child or grandchild if left unattended when you are not able to continue because of injury or illness, even from a foreign country.
Emergency Message Relay gives you, your family or physician a 24-hour emergency communication service that you can call, toll free, and leave messages for each other.
Pet Care and Return provided if you become unable to care for a pet due to an accident or illness while traveling. Any fees will be billed to the Member's credit card.
Return of Traveling Companion in the event that you pass away while away from home.
Travel Assistance
Vehicle Return arranged and paid if you cannot drive your vehicle back to your place of residence due to illness or death. Provided only after medical evacuation.
Repatriation Costs to bring your remains home in case of death while traveling.
No Limit on Emergency Cash transfer if you lose your cash, credit cards and/or traveler’s checks, or if they are stolen. These cash funds will be billed against a valid credit card.
Pre-Trip Assistance in replacing passports, drivers’ licenses, birth certificates, or other documents that get lost or stolen. EA+ will provide telephone assistance related to consular services, inoculations, visa and other travel requirements to help you cut through all the red tape! All fees associated with the acquisition and forwarding of these documents will be billed to the Member's credit card.
Lost Luggage or Item Assistance puts EA+ experts to work helping you track down lost luggage, personal items and documents. EA+ will follow through while you travel on.
Language Interpretation Service if you are traveling in a foreign country and need multilingual help in an emergency. Your I.D. card has a special number for you to call collect – you don’t need to spend a dime!

Real-Time Security Intelligence available to you in the event you feel threatened by political or social unrest, or when you are concerned about weather, health or environmental hazards. You get access to the latest information and guidance for over 180 countries from our global intelligence database.
Security Evaluation Services: In the event of a threatening situation, EA+ will assist you in making evacuation arrangements, including arranging flights, ground transportation, housing, and securing visas. EA+ will also give you access to specialized security services in more extreme situations, with applicable fees charged against a valid personal credit card.

Once you enroll, we will mail you a complete description of your coverage and an ID card. Take up to 30 days to read the description. If, for any reason, you decide that EA+ isn't what you had in mind, then simply cancel within 30 days and your entire payment will be refunded (unless you file a claim for benefits in the first 30 days, in which case the payment cannot be refunded).
